With its 490,000 inhabitants, Toulouse ranks as the 4th largest city in France. Grouped around 37 communes, the Toulouse agglomeration has nearly 1.1 million souls. Crossed by the Garonne River, Toulouse is home to one of the largest industrial regions in France. A student city, the capital of the Haute-Garonne department is renowned for its dynamism and excellent gastronomy.

Historical monuments to visit in Toulouse
